PLAN YOUR WAY TO THE BANFF GONDOLA
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the Banff Gondola this Canada Day — Monday, July 1.
Ahead of your visit, we wanted to inform you of Canada Day festivities and related closures that may interrupt your arrival.
Canada Day Road Closures
The Town of Banff will be celebrating Canada Day throughout the afternoon on July 1, 2024, with road closures starting at 2 p.m. to accommodate the parade route. For more information on the festivities and closures, please visit the Town of Banff website.
Free Ride Services
We recommend avoiding delays, road closures and parking limitations by taking a free shuttle or Roam Transit bus to the Banff Gondola — both included with your pre-booked, same-day Banff Gondola ticket and operating throughout Canada Day with modified services.
BANFF GONDOLA SHUTTLES: The Banff Gondola Downtown Shuttle will not run from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on July 1 due to Canada Day road closures. During these times, two Banff Gondola South Shuttles will be operating on an unscheduled loop. ROAM TRANSIT: Roam Transit’s Route 1 service will also operate on a modified schedule and route throughout Canada Day. For more information, please visit the Roam Transit website.
