Hello there,
We're looking forward to welcoming you for your Ice Odyssey at the Columbia Icefield! Ahead of your visit, we have some tips, recommendations and essential info to help you make most of your time in the Canadian Rockies.
What You Need to Know
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before your tour time. You will meet your guide and check in at the Glacier Adventure Centre’s UPPER BANFF-SIDE PARKING LOT.
Your access code is 1945.
Temperatures are typically a few degrees cooler on the glacier, so we suggest dressing in layers. Flat, closed-toe shoes are required for the tour. Adjustable crampons will be provided for extra grip. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also recommended.
Space is limited in the vehicles' interior — we advise against bringing large backpacks, large purses or bulky camera bags for your own comfort.
