DEALS
From re-emerging wildlife and Talkeetna's annual Spring Wine Dinner to another season of Kenai Fjords Tours adventures, there’s so much to look forward to in the Last Frontier.
Across Alaska, the land is coming back to life. The first signs of “breakup” bring more lush greenery, more wildlife and more time to explore, with an average of six extra minutes of light added every day. Take a day cruise to see glaciers, whales and other marine life beyond the shoreline. On land, watch for moose welcoming their calves to the world and bears emerging from their dens.
In Seward, training is underway for the historic July 4th Mount Marathon race — a 3,022-foot climb overlooking the city and Resurrection Bay. Hikers can tackle it at their own pace starting in May. In Talkeetna, spring brings wine dinners, Easter and Mother’s Day brunches and live music — plenty of chances to celebrate the season.
Find your way to ring in the spring this year in Alaska. We can’t wait to welcome you!
